Adriana Guarderas

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #148397,
Supervised by Camille Black, LMFT

Adriana is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who works with individuals navigating OCD and related concerns, including intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and anxiety. Many of her clients feel stuck, overwhelmed, or confused by thoughts that don’t reflect who they are.

She also supports clients experiencing trauma, ADHD, autism, and identity-related concerns.

Using evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with a culturally affirming, trauma-informed lens, Adriana helps clients build skills, reduce distress, and move toward a more grounded, values-driven life.

She specializes in OCD, including intrusive thoughts and compulsions, as well as sex therapy. Through ERP and ACT, she supports clients in reducing compulsions, tolerating uncertainty, and breaking out of stuck patterns. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally affirming, focused on helping clients develop practical tools while moving toward meaningful change.

Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when someone has been managing things on their own for a long time. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, Adriana offers a space where clients feel understood, supported, and not judged, and invites them to take the first step when they’re ready.
