Tamara works with children, teens, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the impact of divorce. She understands that every person’s story is unique and believes therapy should be tailored to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
With more than 20 years of experience working with children and families in educational and community settings, Tamara brings both expertise and compassion to her work. She has extensive experience supporting students in elementary, middle, and high school settings and enjoys helping young people build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and strengthen their relationships at home, school, and with peers.
Tamara’s approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. She uses evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, play-based interventions, and social-emotional skill building, while creating a space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. Her goal is to help clients better understand their emotions, navigate life’s challenges, and build resilience along the way.
Tamara sees clients in person or virtually and accepts self-pay, Anthem, Aetna, Blue Shield, Cigna, and Victims of Crime.
