About Lisa
Lisa works with children, teens, adults, families, and older adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by the pressure to be “enough.” That pressure can come from family, relationships, school, work, or even the expectations we put on ourselves. Over time, it can show up as anxiety, depression, perfectionism, self-doubt, people-pleasing, relationship struggles, or simply feeling like you have lost touch with yourself. She also enjoys working with older adults who may be adjusting to a new season of life.
Changes in family roles, relationships, retirement, independence, grief and loss, or questions about what comes next can bring up a lot to work through. Therapy can be a place to talk openly about those changes and make sense of what this chapter looks like for you. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate.
She takes the time to understand each person’s experiences and the relationships and expectations that have shaped how they see themselves. There is no expectation that you come to therapy knowing exactly what is wrong or what you need. Sometimes you just know that something does not feel right anymore.
Therapy can give you the space to slow down, feel heard, and better understand yourself. Together, you can begin to let go of expectations that no longer fit and reconnect with what matters to you.
